Jane Chevalier recently moved to Belen from Michigan where she has been well known for her performance on the hammer dulcimer as well as her teaching skills. Jane has been playing the dulcimer since 1989 and teaching since 1992. In addition to hammer dulcimer, she also instructs mountain dulcimer and autoharp.

Jane has two recordings,” Old But Timely” and “Dulcimer Noel”. Jane has also published a companion book to her Old But Timely CD. In 1999 Jane was asked to take part in “Mel Bay Presents 2000 Hammered Dulcimer” book and CD set. Featuring solos by the world’s finest hammered dulcimer players! Jane submitted an original piece, “Waltz for Mimere”, and was selected to be included in the collection that was distributed world wide.
