Dain Forsythe is a rising performer among the ranks of bodhrán players in North America. He placed first in Bodhrán at the 2006 Southeastern Regional Irish Music Competition in Atlanta, Georgia, and later that year at the Southeastern Pipers’ Club Tional, Flute Instructor, John Skelton (of The House Band) invited Dain to accompany him during his evening performance. In September of 2006, Mr. Forsythe taught the Bodhrán workshop at the Atlanta Irish Music Showcase, and performed there with former members of the highly acclaimed Finnegan’s aWake, Russell Hopper (Fiddle) and Mark Warford (Bouzouki/Quatro).

At the Jackson, Mississippi Irish music festival, Dain is consistently requested to sit in with Laree Reeves (three time North American Flute and Whistle champion, and founding member of An Triur), and John Coyne (bouzouki player from Limerick). Mr. Forsythe has acquired numerous recording credits, and had the honor of performing as part of the opening act for Alistair Fraser and Natalie Haas during their 2006 tour.
